The second phase of the 126th China import and export fair (Canton fair) opens at the pazhou exhibition center in guangzhou, south China’s guangdong province, Oct. 23, 2019. This exhibition will last until October 27, mainly displaying consumer goods, gifts, home decorations, etc.
On the morning of November 1, 2019, the 126th Canton fair was held on the platform of the exhibition hall of the fair. A total of 32 enterprises from 18 trading groups brought local food with unique features such as cereals, tea, olive oil and mineral water. The poverty alleviation work of the Canton fair is one of the highlights of the ministry of commerce’s in-depth promotion of targeted poverty alleviation by commerce. From the 122nd session, the Canton fair started to exempt the booth fees of exhibitors from poor areas, and the accumulated reduction and exemption fees exceeded 86.7 million yuan. A number of 892 enterprises participated in the exhibition of featured products in poverty-stricken areas free of charge, providing the most direct economic support for enterprises to explore the international market.
